In a Better World is a 2010 Danish-Swedish drama, written by Anders Thomas Jensen and directed by Susanne Bier. Winner of both the Oscar and the Golden Globe of 2011, its original Danish title is Hævnen, that means revenge. And that's what the story is about: the frequent hard choices we have to face between revenge and forgiveness, anger and reconciliation. Far from a mellow drama, conflicts are shown in a direct, realistic way, bringing several reflections...perhaps the best movie I've seen this year.
